We are honored that Dr. Jakub Kaczmarek, a Board Certified Surgeon of Vet Zentrum Köln in Cologne, Germany, has upgraded to a new 4020 VetScalpel laser. Dr. Kaczmarek’s state-of-the-art 40-watt CO2 laser can be used in almost all surgical procedures and offers several benefits for pets. Compared to traditional surgical methods, some of these benefits include less bleeding, less pain, decreased risk of infection, shortened surgery and anesthesia times, and smoother recoveries.
Jakub Kaczmarek, DVM, Dipl. ECVS, Dipl. EBVS is an active AO Vet, ESVOT member, and the 2024 Kumar Patel Prize winner for his outstanding contributions to laser surgery education. He also lectures across Europe and America and has contributed to the field through numerous presentations, webinars, and published papers covering topics such as laser surgery, surgery, orthopedics, and biomechanics.
